ANDREAS MEICHSNER, geboren 1974, studierte an der Fachhochschule Hannover und thematisiert in seinen Serien „Willkommen im Club", „Arkadia" oder „Schneetreiben" moderne Urlaubs- und Freizeit- aber auch Alltags-Gestaltung und die Tatsache, dass sich zunehmend Urlaubsformen durchsetzen, bei welchen große Teile der Urlaubszeit, wie im Alltag auch, vorhersehbar und reglementiert ablaufen. Alle diese Serien sind in der Publikation „Alles in Ordnung“ veröffentlicht, erschienen im Kehrer Verlag, Heidelberg, 2011.
ANDREAS MEICHSNER, born 1974, studied at the UAS Hannover and in his series “Welcome to the Club“, “Arcadia“ or "Schneetreiben“ focusses on modern ways of organizing and shaping leisure time, holidays and the every-day. Meichsner deals with the fact that more and more holidays are spent in foreseeable and regimented ways, just as the everday that was intended to be left behind.
